Kia UK has confirmed that the EV2 Long Range is now eligible for the maximum Band 1 Electric Car Grant. It reduces the vehicle's on-the-road price by £3,750.

The recall affects certain Mach-Es from the 2021, 2022, and 2023 model years, due to a potential issue with the rear differential. According to the NHTSA, the vehicles in question have a rear differential pinion shaft at risk of fracture.
