With graduation time here, many students are getting set to start their next chapter, but before that, Emily Griffith Technical College students are helping other Denver students look their best while walking across the stage.

There are nearly 120 students in ThunderRidge High School's new welding program, which covers things such as safety, terminology and basic skills. In some cases, it's sparked a passion for a new career field.

As five shelters house more than 1,200 migrants who have made their way to Denver, faith-based organizations are mobilizing to help at the city's request.

Since April, traffic investigators have responded to six different "car surfing" incidents. In one, a deputy spotted two teens sitting atop the sunroof while a car drove down C-470. Most incidents involve teens, but one included adults in their 20s.
