Since October started with 90-degree weather and a month full of 80-degree temperatures, our average temperature was 75.7 degrees topping the previous high of 74.1 back in 2016.

Showers and thunderstorms are possible across North Texas on Monday afternoon, some could even become severe. The front will give way to Tuesday morning temperatures as low as the upper 40s in some areas.

After the welcome rain on Monday, a few Severe Thunderstorm Warnings, and morning showers on Tuesday, North Texas will see great weather for Election Day. By Thursday and Friday, more rain is in the forecast.

A chilly Wednesday morning will give way to a beautiful afternoon. Good weather is in store for the weekend too, but first there’s another chance of rain on Thursday and Friday.

Rain will be around in North Texas off and on through Saturday morning. The rest of the weekend looks nice leading into next week. High temperatures on Friday will reach the mid-60s.

North Texas will see pockets of light rain Friday morning, a line of showers from 3-6 p.m., and a beautiful weekend to follow. Some of the afternoon storms could be severe with small hail and strong wind.

A pretty benign weather forecast over the next 7 days with mild afternoons and cool mornings. Unfortunately, I don’t see any rain in the forecast through the upcoming weekend.

Our quiet weather pattern continues through the weekend, with no measurable rain in the forecast. Cool mornings and mild to pleasant afternoons will continue. Next week, a different story.

A cold front will drop temperatures Wednesday night through Friday, followed by a quick warm-up this weekend, and a pattern change unfolding next week with a chance of rain and much cooler temperatures.

Thursday and Friday mornings will be chilly, before a brief warmup on Saturday. It’ll be a beautiful weekend before a chance of showers on Sunday and then a big pattern change slowly unfolds next week.
