Arctic blast number two will arrive early Saturday morning and it will stay cold through the middle of next week. There is a chance for more wintry precipitation next week.

The next couple of days will be beautiful before a significant temperature drop is expected. The cold air mass, which will arrive early Saturday, will not be as severe as the one in 2021 and it is premature to determine the type of precipitation.

Friday will be the last day with temperatures in the 60s for quite some time. A strong Arctic blast is expected to arrive close to midnight, bringing much colder air that will persist through the middle of next week.

Cold front No. 1 moved through North Texas overnight, cold front No. 2 will arrive Saturday night, and cold front No. 3 will arrive on Tuesday. It’s a 1-2-3 punch and there is a threat of some light snow late Monday into Tuesday.

Temperatures fell to near 20 degrees on Sunday morning with wind chills in the single digits. As a result, the Cold Weather Advisory will remain in effect until 9 a.m. Monday.

Temperatures plummeted into the upper teens to mid-20s on Friday morning. Ample sunshine is expected, with afternoon highs reaching the mid-50s, aligning with the average high of 57 degrees.
