Monday morning began with a bit of fog, but temperatures weren’t too cold. However, a windy Tuesday is in store, before warming temperatures toward the end of the week. There won’t be a lot of measurable rain in the forecast over the next week.

A chilly start to Wednesday followed by some seasonable days ahead. Some could see rain over the weekend, but no Arctic air will arrive anytime soon.

According to the Texas A&M Forest Service, mountain cedar pollen from ashe junipers starts flying in mid-December and will peak in January. This winter allergy can mimic a cold with symptoms like sore throats, congestion, and fatigue.

North Texans woke up to chilly temperatures again Thursday morning, but high temperatures will reach the low 60s. There are slight rain chances on Friday and Saturday morning, but most of the weekend looks nice.

There are several chances of rain over the next seven days. It will be nothing severe, but it will not be a complete washout. After today’s temperatures in the 50s, a mild weather pattern will unfold until the end of next week.

Scattered showers and isolated storms are in the forecast today and Wednesday morning, and then chilly mornings and cool afternoons are in the cards Thursday through the weekend.

Welcome rain fell across parts of North Texas on Monday afternoon and evening. A few showers could sneak in Tuesday night, and then a thin line of showers and storms will form overnight.

All of North Texas saw some rain Wednesday morning, but it quickly moved out of the area behind a strong cold front. A north wind will gust to 30 mph through 12 p.m., and wind chills will be in the 40s.

Chilly mornings and cool afternoons will be the rule through the weekend, as winter arrives early Saturday morning. The next rain chance arrives Christmas Eve and should be out of here by Christmas Day and the first day of Hanukkah.
