Burton had played 40 straight games on the road but instead of getting on a school bus tonight to travel to a ‘home game’ in Somerville, Snook, or at Brazos Christian’s Eagle Stadium in Bryan, they walked across the site of their old stadium 3 years ago to began a new era of Panther football.

After a runner-up finish a year ago in district, the Franklin Lions claimed their 13th district championship since 2006 following a 83-24 win over the Rockdale Tigers.

Allison is following her sister Amanda and brother Edward Scamardo who were also Classroom Champions. She plans on attending Texas A&M University and the plan right now is to manor in Agricultural Business.
