I defend the Catholic outlook on faith and works by providing exegesis for passages that refute "faith alone" and also ones set forth by Protestants in favor of the same doctrine.

Who founded the [Catholic] Church? Was it Jesus in Matthew 16, or someone else centuries later? Somebody founded it. If it wasn't Jesus, who was it, and when was it?
