England's captain has opened up on his future ambitions as skipper in the face of a disastrous World Cup defence after a 160-run win over Netherlands in Pune on Wednesday

The Australian Supercross Championship just wrapped up with Friday racing at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, and Dean Wilson is the new champion of the 450 class. Max Anstie successfully defended his 250 title, and young Parker Ross, an American amateur prospect, won the first-ever SX3 title.

Cooper Webb will compete in the AUSX Open in Australia on November 30. The Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha Team rider has been sidelined with a thumb injury but plans to suit up for the SuperMotocross World Championship Playoffs in September and also the AUSX Open in November, where he’ll compete against Australia’s own Jett and Hunter Lawrence.

Wilson sits 21st in combined SMX standings.
