COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - As the calendar flips over to the month of June, many folks start to welcome summer and summer activities! Nothing can spoil your outdoor summer plans faster, however, than a pop-up shower or storm – something we tend to see around here a lot during the months of June, July, August, and even early September. Our forecast almost always has a seemingly ‘random’ scattering of showers and storms that pop up during the afternoon and evening hours after a warm and humid afternoon.
