(Montel) Italian TSO Terna has slashed by 25% the capacity awarded in its latest capacity market auction for next year compared to preliminary figures as some operators have withdrawn, it said.

The remuneration framework for TSOs needs to be regularly updated to consider both operational and capital expenditures as well as rate increases, European TSO body Entso-E said in a position paper published on Friday.
