The proposed ordinance would amend the current measure to require plantings and an irrigation system on the west side of the dunes as a condition of yearly approval. Twenty-one homeowners would be affected.

Last winter the library held a celebration, but another one was planned for later in the year. That will be happening on Saturday, Nov. 30, from noon to 3 p.m. At 1 p.m., there will be a special presentation from local historian and author Margaret Thomas Buchholz.
