Good Friday morning! Another frosty start today with dry conditions and clear skies. A repeat of yesterday’s weather but turn up the high temperature dial around 10 degrees in the afternoon to a high near 60. If you have any Friday afternoon or Friday night plans weather will cooperate as it continues to remain dry into the start of Saturday.

Good morning! Did anyone wake up to some thunder and lightning last night? A round of thunder showers moved through CNY around 2:30 AM. Roads and surfaces are damp this morning from that round of rain but we start out pretty mild and dry as high temps climb into the low 70s! As the afternoon arrives however there’s a better chance for a return of scattered showers and rumbles of thunder. Some of these showers will linger into the overnight and we dry out following tomorrow morning.

Good morning! It turned out pretty pleasant yesterday evening, but today will not favor dry weather unfortunately. We’re talking about, yet again, more rain! A few passing showers and storms this morning come to an end and we will see a stoppage in the rain by the late morning and early afternoon. Following that though, rain ahead of a cold front will push through CNY. These showers could produce heavy downpours and lightning, as well as isolated stronger wind gusts in some of the embedded storms. There is a low risk for localized flooding in poor drainage areas dependent on how long these storms last over the same area.

Say goodbye to widespread rain! (At least for the next few days). Following mist and patchy fog this morning things dry out with sunshine moving in by the afternoon. A spotty shower could still linger north of I-90 but they won’t last too long as they continue eastward. Highs for the day climb into the mid 60s.
