Weather Alert Days continue through tomorrow as our dome of heat stays put. Lows will only bottom out into the mid to upper 70s to around 80.

Tom DiVecchio Updated Weather Alert continues today as heat indices stay in the mid/upper 90s.

Chances for showers and thunderstorms continue Monday and most of Tuesday, though we expect generally decreasing coverage we get into the later stages of Tuesday. Mostly sunny skies can be expected Wednesday, but shower and storm chances quickly return for Thursday and Friday. Right now, we have isolated showers and thundershowers in the forecast for next weekend. High temperatures will likely only reach the upper-70s Monday thanks to extensive cloud cover, but highs should rebound to the low to mid-80s for the rest of the week into next weekend.

Partly to mostly skies tonight and muggy. Some patchy fog will develop overnight into the morning. Visibilities may drop to less then a half of a mile at times, so add extra time for the morning commutes. Lows into the mid to upper 60s to around 70. Wednesday will be an overall nice day with lots of sunshine. An isolated shower is possible in the early afternoon. Highs into the lower 80s. Temperatures will remain into the mid 80s for the rest of the week with continued humid conditions. The weekend continues warm and muggy with perhaps a few showers or storms, especially on Saturday.

Early showers and rumbles inland come to an end, leading to partly to mostly cloudy skies. Lows into the upper 60s. Friday will not be a total washout, but there will be a few showers and storm around throughout the day. Highs into the lower 80s. We’re in great shape for the weekend with lots of sunshine. We crank up the heat next week as temps could get close to 90, especially on Tuesday or Wednesday. We stay dry with lots of sunshine b the humidity will remain to be an issue.

Expect mostly sunny skies through the weekend into much of next week. There will be a slight chance of a shower this afternoon as an upper-level disturbance hangs around the area. Highs today will be in the low to mid-80s with comfortable humidity. The humidity increases starting Monday, with highs in the mid to upper-80s through Thursday. Inland areas could reach 90 degrees Tuesday. Rain chances return for Friday and Saturday, with widely scattered showers and thunderstorms.

Weather Alert Day will be in effect for today as Canadian wildfire smoke will put our air quality indices over 150 for the day.
