FISHERTOWN– The Chestnut Ridge school board continued preparations for the upcoming school year at its Tuesday night meeting with the employment of four new teachers.

Breezewood Elementary School is shown in the photo above. The Everett Area School board authorized the sale of the building Thursday night.

Hours upon hours of work by local youth culminated Friday evening during the supreme champion showman competition at the Bedford County Fair.

EVERETT — The Everett Borough Council moved forward with allowing a non-profit economic development organization to administer the borough’s revolving loan fund for Everett businesses.

LOYSBURG — As the Northern Bedford County School District prepares for the upcoming school year, a nearly month-long interruption caused issues in July.

The Chestnut Ridge school board made its final adjustments in two meetings in August, before the start of the school year.
