Entangled Publishing said in a statement that it’s working to correct misprints in the new Rebecca Yarros novel Iron Flame that published on November 7. Entangled reportedly indicated the book sold more than half a million copies on its release day, and some of the copies had irregularities including damaged pages, missing pages, upside down pages, and more, which readers catalogued on TikTok. Red Wheel/Weiser will now distribute Crossed Crow Books, Moon Dust Press, and Womancraft Publishing. They will also acquire Quest Books, the imprint of Theosophical Publishing House in January 2024. “Red Wheel/Weiser has been a trusted distribution partner for many years. In addition to meeting our business needs, their vision and mission have always been in alignment with our own. We are heartened that the invaluable books in the Quest Books catalog will continue to reach new audiences through Red Wheel/Weiser’s thoughtful stewardship,” said Barbara B. Hachette UK has become a shareholder of Flame Tree Publishing, an independent publisher of books, gifts, and art calendars, as of October 31. Hachette UK previously became the company’s distributor. Spotify’s new audiobook plan, which gives Premium subscribers 15 hours of audiobooks per month, will launch in Canada, Ireland, and New Zealand on April 9. The plan previously took effect in the US, the UK, and Australia last fall. Subscribers will have access to 250,000 titles. Payment terms for publishers and authors remain opaque.
