Most across the #Indianapolis metro remain dry tonight. However, a few pop-ups are forming like the one over the Brown/Bartholomew County line.

We're starting the final weekend of June on a hazy and foggy note. Our air is nearly 100% saturated thanks to temperatures and dew points being close together.

Another day, another foggy start! Visibility levels are reduced across the majority of central Indiana this morning.

Despite the recent heat, the opening month of meteorological summer (June) was nearly 3° cooler than last year and ended as ‘normal.'

Yesterday's storms in the hours leading to area fireworks displays were quite impressive. Fueled by the humidity, 1-4″ of rain reported!

Humidity jumps and once again the heat index is high in central IN. Not as oppressive as last Thursday's 105° but into the lower 90s for the first time since last Saturday.

Rain is underway just before 9:00 a.m. Saturday across many spots in the Indianapolis metro area. Thank a stationary front that's responsible for this.

High pressure keeps us quiet and mostly sunny today! It also ushers in a brief bout of more comfortable humidity levels.
