INDIANAPOLIS (WRTV) — Heavy rain tapers off later this morning. A few scattered showers are possible. Spotty weekend storms may occur but the main weather story will be the high heat and humidity.

INDIANAPOLIS (WRTV) — Monday morning rain comes to an end and we will see some sunshine this afternoon. Humidity begins to drop Tuesday. We see a couple of dry days this week which will help river levels continue to drop.

INDIANAPOLIS (WRTV) — Dry to start the day but more wet weather moves into the state later this afternoon. Some areas may pick up moderate to heavy rainfall. We begin to dry out later in the week with temperatures a few degrees below normal for this time of the year.

INDIANAPOLIS (WRTV) — A noisy night with showers and thunderstorms moving across the state. The rain comes to an end later this morning and the clouds begin to break up. We will see lots of dry time throughout the next several days with temperatures near 80.

INDIANAPOLIS (WRTV) — Sunny and dry for much of the afternoon across the state. Isolated showers may pop up overnight into Saturday. Dry conditions for much of the weekend with temperatures staying into the upper 70s.

INDIANAPOLIS (WRTV) — Quiet conditions for the first couple of days this week. Rain chances return for the middle part of the week. Temperatures will be slightly below normal for this time of the year.

INDIANAPOLIS (WRTV) — Beautiful weather again today with near normal highs. A cold front moves through Wednesday, bringing a chance for strong thunderstorms to the state. Temperatures continue to climb and get close to 90 for the end of the weekend and early next week.

Strong thunderstorms are possible later this evening across parts of northern and central Indiana. It will be a little more humid with highs into the lower 80s.

A round of showers and storms is on the way in the coming hours. A few areas of patchy fog this morning.
