David Sanguinetti is closing the book at The Study. ForeLand Beer’s Portland taproom ‘The Study’ that has been the showcase for the McMinnville, Oregon based brewery’s cutting edge west coast IPA, lagers, and cask beers since late 2021. Built into a lovingly well worn and woody 1913 built craftsman bungalow at 25th and SE Division, The Study has been a welcome change of pace for brewery taprooms that largely occupy industrial or cold new construction developments. But before this chapter of ForeLand closes, there are 2 weeks left to discover this hidden old Portland gem before the final day on December 31st, 2025.

Von Ebert Brewing is kicking off what is sure to be a milestone year by revealing their 2025 beer release calendar. With new brand, sales, marketing teams, plus first ever 6-packs, and a huge expansion of their brewing capabilities in-the-works, Von Ebert’s 7th year will be punctuated by an anniversary collaboration with Russian River Brewing.

Portland-based Ginger Cult makes alcoholic ginger beer brewed in Hillsboro with a much spicier and fresher profile than the store bought ginger sodas that most people are familiar with. After launching in spring 2024, the craft brewed Ginger Cult is expanding their lineup with a new tropical ginger flavor and an upcoming non-alcoholic version in 12oz cans and 4-packs now distributed across the state in partnership with Point Blank Distributing.
