Annual Oregon brewery closures peaked in 2024 and have begun leveling off. In Oregon there is a remarkable churn of closures to reopenings as many spaces don’t go vacant for long. Failure -or change- breeds opportunity and the chance to rejuvenate a former brewery or taproom that could still be successful. Many of the following examples of breweries or brewing and taproom spaces for sale or lease are currently still in business, some have permanently closed, and others have simply relocated.

It will be another 4 long months before Goose Island Brewing releases their 2026 collection of the famed Bourbon County Brand Stout, but we already have the details on this years lineup of variants.
