Raymond W. Will, a mechanical engineer and former general foreman of Bethlehem Steel Corp.'s Rod and Wire Mill at its Sparrows Point works, died Nov. 17 from cancer at Senator Bob Hooper Hospice House in Forest Hill. The Cedarcroft resident was 95.

Kelly W. Hill, a career mortgage banker and marketing director who had been involved with various philanthropic endeavors, died Nov. 1 from liver disease at her New Windsor home. She was 61.

Julius W. “Jake” Eldridge, a career CSX railroader, neighborhood activist, and streetcar enthusiast, died Nov. 17 from complications of dementia at Springwell Senior Living in Mount Washington. The former Evergreen resident was 88.

Jean F. Silber, a philanthropist, enthusiastic gardener and the driving force behind the Cylburn Arboretum, died Nov. 21 from kidney failure at Greater Baltimore Medical Center. The Roland Park Place resident was 92.

Mr. McDonogh left the newspaper and entered state service in 1998 when he became PIO for state Housing and Community Development. In 2003, he was named a PIO for the state Department of Emergency Management. He retired on Jan. 10 and died two days later.
