Sharon Speedway won the second session of the Reynolds Commercial League. They ended with 27 wins. Team members are Luke Kettering, Brenda Dobran, Russell Adkins, Robbie Clifford, and Tera Wilson.

While competing in the Dan Merkosky Memorial Bowling League, Don Koewacich rolled his fifth career 300 game. His scores were 215-300-231 for a 746 series.

Luke Weber started the Reynolds March 11 TOC qualifier in 34th place, worked his way to 22nd and ended the event with two 300 games to win the event with a 1184 total. George Rearick was second with 1178 while Jeff Bragg was third with 1152. Chris Noble finished fourth with 1140 while Mikhaila Hoover was fifth with 1127.

Duke's Sanitary Service and In Your Face Cupcakes tied for the final session of the Dan Merkosky League, but since In Your Face Cupcakes had already won a session, Duke’s was declared the session winner. Team members are Nelly Toles, Ben Ferencik, Scott Baillie, and Rich Speicher. In Your Face Cupcakes and Duke’s Sanitary Service join Barris Supply and TEAM NAP in the roll-offs for the league championship on April 9.

For the second time in three years, Team NAP is the Merkosky League champions. They accomplished the feat by earning 16 points in the league roll-off that took place on April 8. Team members are Cory Pagliarini, Ryan Fraley, Geo Rossi, and Adam Scott.

Although Hudson Construction finished third in the final session of the Miller Lite League, the two teams that finished in front of them (Knott’s Interiors and Playing Hooky Fishing) had won previous sessions, so Hudson goes into the playoffs as the fourth session winner. Team members are Keith Brown, Rich Billioni, Chris Karsnak, and Mike Mettee.

Playing Hooky Fishing were the 2023-24 champs of the Miller Lite League that competes at 10 Pin Alley. They accumulated 16 points in the four-team roll-off that was held on April 17. Team members are Rick Busch, George Uhl, Shawn Hoover, Kyle Wentling, and Brian Geisel. Geisel filled in for Wentling as Wentling had surgery.

McGonigle's won the championship of the Clark House League that competes at Reynolds Lanes. The win didn’t come easy as they eked out a 29-pin win (2713-2684) over IDGAF in a four-team roll-off. Whispering Oaks finished third with 2545 while the Oompa Loompas took the final spot with 2484. McGonigle’s team is Norm Kolbrich, Rich Billioni, Jim Faylo, and Greg Yoursh.

The annual meeting of the Mercer County Bowling Association was held on Aug. 12 at Sharon VFW Post 1338. After the usual greetings, etc., the meeting opened with old business.
