If you look at the restrooms at Tolmie Park, they are playfully painted. You can see a quail on one side and it travels to the other size to fly away — with multiple other quail on the main front side facing the road. This has to do with Walt’s love of quail hunting.

Keokuk Police Department routinely partners with the library to interact with the youth, typically through reading a story, answering questions, showing off a police vehicle, and sharing drinks.
