bluefield, w.va – Another dose of single-digit arctic cold with severe wind chills is expected tonight across the region before temperatures start returning to winter temperatures that are usually experienced this time of year.

bluefield – Forecasts were offering some future relief Wednesday from the arctic cold gripping southern West Virginia and Southwest Virginia as temperatures looked ready to start rising as the weekend approaches.

Lorton Lick Road was blocked Thursday morning after a car and a coal truck collided in Montcalm. The truck rolled and struck part of a house which was unoccupied.No serious injuries were reported.
