A Roswell-based contracting company said an employee wrote herself three checks totaling $7,099, forged the manager’s signature and cashed them without authorization. The employee allegedly tried to cash a fourth check the afternoon of Aug. 3, but the business manager canceled the transaction. He then called Roswell police to report that the money was stolen from the company throughout July.

Milton police officers recently apprehended a man suspected of unlawfully entering multiple Fulton County schools and allegedly stealing items from those campuses. According to police, the most recent intrusion happened at Cambridge High School on the evening of July 29, four days before students returned to the campus for the 2026-27 school year.

Dunwoody residents can safely dispose of household hazardous waste, like oil-based paint or pesticides, at a city-sponsored event Saturday, Sept. 19 in the parking lot of Dunwoody City Hall, 4800 Ashford Dunwoody Road. The free event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is open to all Dunwoody residents. Proof of residency is required.

A developer is seeking to rezone 11.64 acres along Ashwood Parkway with the intent of building and selling 122 townhomes. Roswell police recently apprehended a Dunwoody woman with multiple active arrest warrants at a traffic stop on South Holcomb Bridge Road. While searching her silver BMW, officers said they found Xanax and various forms of methamphetamine.
