This week opened with a deluge of 15 new ETFs on Monday, with only a single launch occurring after that. Perhaps the most notable of the debuts was the first buffer ETF from iShares.

The past week saw the debut of 13 new ETFs on U.S. markets as well as a host of material changes to existing funds. Among the firms launching ETFs were Harbor Capital, YieldMax, ALPS, and T. Rowe Price, as well as newcomers Ocean Park and Draco Evolution.

Thursday saw the first VettaFi fixed income symposium since the 50 bps rate cut in September, shifting the narrative around the economy and markets, especially bonds. Participating firms in the Q4 Fixed Income Symposium included Vanguard, Fidelity, Invesco, PIMCO, T. Rowe Price, and more.

With the launch of its 41st U.S.-listed ETF, Dimensional’s newest fund covers emerging markets while excluding China. The Dimensional Emerging Markets ex China Core Equity ETF DEXC lists on the NYSE Arca with an expense ratio of 0.43%.

The TCW Group nearly doubled the size of its ETF lineup today, launching five new funds on the NYSE Arca exchange. Each of the new products offer actively managed exposure to a portion of the fixed income markets. And three of the ETFs in the group are conversions from mutual funds.

Defiance ETFs added another single-stock ETF to its lineup, bringing the total number of 2x leveraged single-stock funds in its offering to five. The Defiance Daily Target 2x Long NVO ETF (NYSE Arca: NVOX) aims to deliver twice the daily performance of the stock of pharmaceutical company NOVO Nordisk, a large pharmaceutical company headquartered in Denmark.

YieldMax, an ETF issuer known for its option income strategies, rolled out its 36th fund today. The YieldMax Target 12 Semiconductor Option Income ETF (NYSE Arca: SOXY) is an actively managed product that writes options on the holdings of a portfolio of between 15 and 30 semiconductor stocks. The fund’s ultimate aim is to generate 12% in annual income for shareholders.

On Wednesday, Eventide Asset Management rolled out its second ETF that aligns its portfolio with Christian values. The firm benchmarks the actively managed Eventide US Market ETF ( NYSE Arca: EUSM ) to the Bloomberg U.S. 3000 Total Return Index. It selects companies from across the market capitalization spectrum based on expectations around performance and their moral values. The fund has an expense ratio of 0.39%.
