BALTIMORE — The homeless population suffers the most in the winter months some even dealing with hypothermia or even passing away in the freezing cold.

BALTIMORE — Yolanda Davis was homeless before. During that time, she says she got help from Catholic Charities and its shelters.

There was tons of excitement Friday at Roland Park Elementary Middle School as students, staff, alumni and even the mayor came to celebrate its 100 years.

Over the past 2 years Baltimore State's Attorney Ivan Bates says his office has been able to increase the number of people it put behind bars, which he says brings down violent crimes in the city.

The association was able to purchase the land with help from Senator Mary Washington, who was able to get state funding from the purchase.

Windsor has lived in Perry Hall his whole life, and he says the increase in juvenile crime has only been a factor in recent years.
