The Three Lakes girls volleyball team played in a heavy dose of conference play, facing off in seven different conference matches between two days of play last week.

Fantasy football is one of many things people take seriously and enjoy as they venture through the NFL season watching their respective teams intently and, of course, the players they drafted. Many don't understand the pressure people face when it comes to drafting, cutting and making the transactions of a make-believe team for a handful of months per year.

In just about a month and a half, four local martial artists will be a part of Team USA at the Pankration World Championships in Romania, Oct. 24-28.
