The Phil Hardberger Park Conservancy will present a morning out at the Historic Voelcker Homestead. Before Phil Hardberger Park became a city natural area, it had a rich history in agriculture as a dairy farm. The Southwest Dairy Farmers will present a live milking demonstration to teach visitors the modern milking process and the importance of dairy food.

The Cocoa & Candy Canes: A Holiday Sing-Along Concert will feature melodies of the holiday season. This is an interactive, sing-along concert and fundraiser full of music, joy, and festive cheer performed by world-class professional musicians. Attendees can pack a picnic blanket to witness this concert as they enjoy Hot Cocoa from Travelin' Tom's Coffee Truck and Candy Canes.

Each Christmas season, Vitacca Ballet and School for Dance presents The Nutcracker, a holiday experience great for kids and adults alike. The audience will see Clara’s magical journey into the Land of Snow and the Kingdom of Sweets.

Honky Tonk For Hope will feature performances by Hayes Carll and Band of Heathens, Jason Boland and The Stragglers, Eddie 9V, John Evans Band, and Two Tons of Steel.

The Houston Turkey Dash will include a half marathon, 10K, 5K, Family 1K, or Kids K. New this year will be a handcycling option so everyone can participate. All skill levels are welcome, and proceeds support five local nonprofits.

Vista Brewing will present an outdoor screening of the modern classic Elf to kick off the holiday season. There will be a Beer Garden, Fire Pit with S'mores, and a farm-to-table dinner menu and beverage menu of beer, wine, cider and non-alcoholic options. S'mores and hot chocolate will be available from 5:30 pm until sold out.
