This has been a weird, not so great series in Chicago. As premised in Game 1 on Thursday, this is a team the Red Sox need to beat up on if they’re going to do anything in the standings this season. Losing twice to these White Sox...is not a very good sign. Today’s game was going to be ugly regardless. A cobbled together lineup sans Tyler O’Neill and Rafael Devers, and a true bullpen game for the first time in forever. Could they maintain their composure/addiction to staying.500 or would they succumb to the pressure and get run through the laundry?
