The three parties trying to form a coalition had "done the policy work first and foremost", Christopher Luxon said this week.

There are signs the final deal between National, ACT and New Zealand First will be ready for final consultation today, with the actual announcement likely Friday.

Negotiations to form a government have concluded, a statement from the leaders of all three parties says. Christopher Luxon is expected to speak to media within the hour.
