"Chicago" will be the first of four touring musicals coming to Duluth. "Pretty Woman," "Mean Girls" and "Riverdance" will follow.

The release of the biopic "A Complete Unknown" is inspiring Duluthians to renew calls that have been heard for decades, to little avail.

Also this week: Mac-tinis at the Sheraton, stitching at Bent Paddle, AICHO Valentine's market, Jo Koy at the DECC and Duluth Does Bowie.

The building is also home to the Minnesota Ballet and Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra. LOON is presenting a choral opera there this weekend.

The Bob Dylan biopic landed eight nominations for the 97th Academy Awards, which will be presented March 2.

Also this week: "Romy and Michelle" at Zeitgeist, Lake Superior Writers host "Type-In," Cider North at the DECC, Laskiainen in Palo and "Cash for Gold" starts streaming.

The nonprofit, which aims to "grow Duluth," has rebranded with a focus on "life up north." Its images have earned hundreds of millions of views.

Spaces with the working names of "Portside Park" and "Paulucci Plaza" will host public events as the area next to the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center focuses more on pedestrians.

Also this week: Parker McCollum at Amsoil, "Dreams and Nightmares" at Prove Gallery, "The Tempest" at UMD, Family Fest at the Depot and "Little Match Girl" at Pilgrim Congregational Church.

Producing Artistic Director Phillip Fazio, succeeding Christine Gradl Seitz, joined the nonprofit in 2020. Executive Director Wes Drummond will now take on an expanded artistic role.
