HOUSTON – Canaan Dennis, a junior at Jacksonville High School, excelled at the FastTrack Athletix High School Indoor Challenge, which took place Sunday at the University of Houston’s Yeoman Fieldhouse.

The Jacksonville Fightin’ Maidens and the Brook Hill Lady Guard basketball teams move up one spot in the latest Texas Association of Basketball Coaches polls, which were released Monday.

DALLAS – Big-time competition in “Big D” awaits the Jacksonville Fightin’ Maiden basketball beginning Thursday when the Maidens continue their holiday tradition of playing in the Dallas Independent School District Holiday Invitational presented by Powerade.
