The Jackson First Church of the Nazarene hosted Easter-related activities for children and families on Saturday, March 28. Senior Pastor Mark S. Erskine shared the Easter story using resurrection eggs, offering an engaging and meaningful experience for young participants. Throughout the event, children enjoyed games, entered prize drawings, and were treated to a free lunch. One of the highlights of the day was an Easter egg hunt, where youth scrambled to pick up a total of 6,500 eggs, divided among different age groups. The Easter Bunny also made a special appearance. (

The next regular meeting of Wellston City Council is scheduled for Thursday, April 16, at 7 p.m. The meetings are held in the Wellston City Council Chambers on the second floor of the Wellston City Building.
