Temperatures are running very mild for this point in mid-December already Monday. Wind gusts will increase out of the northwest for a breezy day especially in northern Nebraska.

After a mild day Monday and highs in the middle 50s, we'll be slightly cooler Tuesday. Yet high winds and colder days are around the corner for the rest of the week.

More sunshine will win out by the mid-morning hours on Wednesday. But despite a lot more sun, we won't be warming up all that much.

The holidays are almost here! This is the first time the start of Hanukkah coincides with Christmas since 2005. Kwanzaa will start the following day.

Temperatures were in the upper 50s and lower 60s Saturday and Sunday, and hopefully you were able to enjoy it because change is already upon us.

A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for parts of southeast Nebraska Saturday afternoon through Sunday afternoon. Snow accumulations could add up to 6" south of Lincoln toward Beatrice and surrounding areas of far southeast Nebraska.
