Some members of Alberton council will be taking on new portfolios as October draws to a close.

O’Leary Council will be consulting with Develop West Prince to write a letter to the provincial government about one of its funding initiatives for housing.

It took proofing the Oct. 16 issue for this reporter to remember that October is, among several things, ADHD Awareness Month.

While major world wars are at an end, Canadians have participated in other events like the Korean War, the War in Afghanistan, the War in Iraq, and countless peacekeeping missions over the decades, and they serve as a reminder for the importance of keeping them in mind as Remembrance Day draws nearer.
