Most of the interesting football took place earlier in the week. The Sunday slate was one of the worst of the season. Regardless, it is fantasy championship week! Week 18 always provides a blend of teams battling for playoffs spots or seeding and other teams looking to get a disappointing season over. For most of the teams, I'll note a few things as I look ahead to next year. When applicable, I'll include notable takeaways from today's games.

There are many types of formats for fantasy football playoff leagues. The most common are those where a roster is either drafted like a typical fantasy draft or a roster is chosen with players rostered on multiple fantasy teams.

There are only 13 games each postseason. After the WIld-Card week, only seven games remain. I never like blowouts in the playoffs, knowing there is so little football left until next season. We've seen many versions of this Chiefs team over the years. The one constant is that they'll be in their seventh straight AFC Championship game. I can easily nitpick Kansas City's performance against the Texans. They appeared to be playing too soft on defense for three quarters. On their first two drives, they struggled to move the football. There is nothing like conference championship Sunday. The anticipation of seeing which teams will be in the Super Bowl raises the excitement level to incredible levels. With three games left in the season, it was a letdown that the early game was a blowout. Fortunately, we saw an amazing game to end the day. Let's hope the Super Bowl is a great game in two weeks when we see the Kansas City Chiefs go for a three-peat against the Philadelphia Eagles. As you know, this is a rematch of Super Bowl 57, when the Chiefs won 38-35.
