LOGAN — A local campground that is suing one of its members for building a house on his campground lot, and is being countersued by him, has asked a judge to either dismiss the man's complaint, or require him to provide documentation to support some of its claims.

LOGAN — At their 2025 organizational meeting Monday, the Hocking County commissioners reported that the state of Ohio is ready to sell the old Hocking Correctional Facility site near Nelsonville to the county for $1. In a project begun in 2018, the county has been repurposing the facility for use as a women-only jail and drug treatment center.

LOGAN — Logan Mayor Greg Fraunfelter is appealing a November decision by the city's Zoning Board of Appeals, to grant a setback variance to a Furnace Street resident's garage project.
