WINSTON-SALEM - Morehead notched a crucial 68-59 road win over North Forsyth in Mid-State 2A Conference action Friday night.

Back-to-back games, a win at North Forsyth, followed by a 53-49 loss at Lexington Thursday night, puts Morehead in a precarious position with just seven regular season games remaining. The Panthers, at 2-3 in Mid-State 2A Conference play, and 6-11 overall, took a step forward and another back this past week. A 68-59 road win over North Forsyth Jan. 22 was a step in the right direction.
