After clinching bowl eligibility last week, Syracuse (6-2, 3-2 ACC) goes on the road again to take on longtime rival Boston College (4-4, 1-3).

Gouged, ran over, flattened, trampled, ground up. The specific terminology does not matter, but the Boston College run game certainly did. The Eagles (5-4, 2-3 ACC) piled up 313 rushing yards in snapping a three-game losing streak by defeating Syracuse at home, 37-31.

Syracuse came up short at Boston College on Saturday, dropping a 37-31 contest and sliding to 6-3 overall and 3-3 in ACC action.

The Orange jumped out to a 20-point second quarter lead, giving them enough breathing room to clinch a winning record.

Syracuse rallied, but fell short against Texas, 70-66, on Thursday evening at the Barclay's Center.

Syracuse closed out a fruitless trip to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, dropping the third place game in the Legends Classic to Texas Tech, 79-74. The Orange (3-2) were game early, but struggled on offense after halftime, making only seven shots from the field in the half before the final 30 seconds of play. The Red Raiders (5-1) kept SU in the game by repeatedly sending them to the foul line, but an 11-2 run gave them enough breathing room to withstand the foul shot barrage.

Syracuse lost its second in a row, dropping a 79-74 decision to Texas Tech on Friday evening at the Barclay's Center.

Kyle McCord threw for 470 yards and accounted for three scores, but the Orange had to recover an onside kick to win.
