A shocking video clip provided to Cowboy State Daily on Friday evening shows Daniel, Wyoming, resident Cody Roberts in a local bar kneeling over and lifting the head of an obviously weak and injured wolf to kiss it.

Citizens of Laramie were put under a "Severe Odor Alert" late Wednesday by town authorities. A routine process at the Waste Water Treatment Plant created a "strong, rotten egg odor" and will likely persist for the next 24 hours. Police say there is no cause for concern.

A former race car driver and the Campbell County undersheriff say a 16-year-old boy who led police on a high-speed chase hitting 142 mph is lucky. Any slight mishap at that speed is probably not survivable, they said.

A pilot flying from Scottsbluff, Nebraska, to Oregon on Saturday morning had a mechanical issue and had to land his plane on Interstate 25 about 23 miles north of Cheyenne. The pilot, also a mechanic, was able to fix the plane and then took off again from the Interstate.

Wyoming's senior senator John Barrasso joined former President Trump at the Steelers game Sunday night in Pittsburgh. Barrasso told Cowboy State Daily the crowd was "overwhelmingly receptive, chanting USA, USA, USA" when Trump was announced.

Appearing on "Meet the Press" on Sunday, Sen. John Barrasso said President-elect Donald Trump has received an overwhelming mandate and with this mandate will come mass deportations and tax cuts.
