Saturday night’s programme at Tralee Track cleared the way for the semi-finals of two 525-yards sweepstakes, one for novice 2 class and the other for novice 3 class, and there was no mistaking the star of the show. It was Move She Can, a well-named daughter of Ballymac Cashout and Conquering Queen, which clocked a fastest of the night 28.87 in the opening round of the novice 2 sweepstake for joint-owners, Michael and Kevin O’Connor from Ballyduff.
