Yesterday we tied a record high of 79 degrees, but it’s not looking like we’ll come close to any records today Tomorrow through Saturday is a different story, with high temps in the low 80s. Each day during that period looks to either tie or break records, some of which have stood since 1917! Other than that, lows will stay slightly above average with some wind expected in areas east of Tucson early tomorrow afternoon into Thursday.
The high temperature here in Tucson today will be 80 degrees. That would tie a record set last year. We’re going to continue seeing record threatening temps through Saturday with highs in the 80s. We’re also expecting to see some wind, mainly in areas east of Tucson.
Tomorrow could break a record set back in 1939 for the most 80 degree days in the month of December. We’ve already tied that record at 8 days and have the potential to break it with tomorrow’s forecasted high at 80 degrees on the dot. Tomorrow’s set to be the warmest day over the next weeks, with temps fluctuating from the mid to high 70s. We’re still not seeing any chance for precipitation.
