ELIZABETHTON — For the second time in the past three months, the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Supreme Court of Tennessee has taken disciplinary action against attorney Jason Holly, who serves as the judge of the Elizabethton Municipal Court. On October 28, 2024, Holly's law license was temporarily suspended upon finding that Holly had failed to respond to the board on three complaints of misconduct involving legal services to clients in his private law practice. On Jan. 6, Holly received a public censure from the board. The board said the censure came because Holly had not responded to requests for information from the disciplinary counsel and did not return fees to the three clients.
