Now that Nokia has introduced its true high-end Windows Phone offering for Verizon Wireless, it's sure to try its mightiest to chip away at the iPhone 5's always stringent grasp. Considering that it's sporting a competitive price point of $99.99 with a 2-year agreement, there's no arguing whatsoever that the aggressive approach might actually make customers think twice about settling down on a device – even more when it's packing goodies that the iPhone lacks, such as wireless charging, NFC, and a super sensitive display. Already proving itself as THE Windows Phone to own if you're on Big Red's network, it'll be intriguing to see how it stacks against Apple's pride and joy in every category.

Oh boy people! We're nearing that time of the year when companies go all out to get products into the face of hungry consumers, who are starving for some good ‘ol fashion tech goodness. If you're looking to snag a deal on a fancy new tablet this upcoming holiday season, you'll have plenty to choose from, naturally – though, it seems like certain ones have a better balance between price, features, and performance. Apple and Microsoft have been in a never-ending quest to outduel one another, but in the tablet space, it's been nothing but smooth sailing for Apple – and nothing but catching up for Microsoft.

Samsung just can't get enough of itself it seems. First, it was the humble Galaxy Tab line that brought them into the tablet segment, then soon after that, the Galaxy Note family came screaming onto the scene with a healthy productivity element. Very recently, we saw an even more enhanced productivity line of tablets in the Galaxy Tab/Note Pro family. Are you confused yet? Well, hold onto your frazzled brains because there Samsung introduced yet another line on top of all that – the Galaxy Tab S.

On one hand, we have the Motorola XOOM that's backed with the overhauled Android 3.0 Honeycomb experience, and bevy of next-generation hardware to keep it up with the times for a while. And of course, there is the iPad 2, which uniquely modified our perception with its intricate razor thin profile – while still making some moderate improvements over its predecessor. Precisely on schedule, these two juggernauts in the tablet arena will undoubtedly capture the attention of the world right now, but which one will keep you interested in the long run?

Just like the original Motorola DROID, the DROID X is presented as one of the smartphones to challenge the might of Apple's iPhone by attacking some key areas where the iPhone has been unable to capture. From a design standpoint, we have to give credit to Motorola for being able to craft a sleek looking handset that doesn't necessarily feel like a juggernaut when it comes down to sheer size. Naturally it relies on its sheer display to attract consumers seeing that it's the sole differentiator from a first glance. However, we're content with its performance under the hood as it includes a myriad of respectable hardware that enables it to stand toe-to-toe with other contemporary offerings. Being powered by Android has its clear advantages and the DROID X tastefully manages to pretty it up with its own customized experience. However, this isn't the first encounter we've had with a monster sized Android handset. By no means should this be overlooked by Verizon customers, or any Android users as a matter of fact, but the Motorola DROID X is yet another healthy offering that substantiates Android's growing popularity among people.
