The man arrested and held on suspicion of his involvement in a string of robberies in 2022 was set to submit his plea agreement Thursday in the Superior Court of Guam, but his attorney was not present. Judge John C. Terlaje pushed Santino Pius Addy’s change of plea hearing back two weeks to allow time for his attorney to review the agreement with Addy. In early March 2022, Addy was indicted by a grand jury for his connection to a series of robberies in February 2022. Addy, age 21 at the time, was indicted on 17 charges ranging from robbery, attempted robbery, terrorizing, theft and theft and burglary to motor vehicles, according to court documents. Addy was also accused of using deadly weapons in the commission of some of the felonies that included a firearm, knife, machete and screwdriver, the indictment stated, but had no other details about the incidents.
