She has afib, a heart condition. The meds seem to control it a bit. She also has had two hips replaced, and cataracts removed. She had breast cancer.
If we do not make a New Year resolution, we usually think about it. I spoke with a person who said, “No resolution for me, I never keep up with them.” Alas, the wisdom of age.
I wrote yesterday that we often eschew New Year resolutions because we have been there and done that... And it did not go well, so I am not going to bother with it again.
We are reading “Willpower” by Baumeister and Tierney in our book group. Life-changing book. I drive by the store every day. Sometimes I stop.
I am tempted. Have to admit it. My efforts to drop weight have been significant. The results have not been. Give me some of those new pills.
