The Indianapolis Colts are not favored in their matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Most people wouldn’t expect them to be. The Bills come in at 7-2, and the Colts are coming off a very sloppy and uninspiring loss against the Vikings. All is not lost on the season for the Colts, but things are starting to enter the danger zone, especially if they fail to win on Sunday. Just because it will be tough, it doesn’t mean it is impossible. There are a few things the Colts will need to do to ensure they have a fighter’s chance.
With both teams struggling, the Colts are hoping to save their season.

Fans are starting to get whiplash from all the back and forth.
Second chances are abundant in the NFL. Players may struggle with the team that drafted them but find a resurgence with another. Quarterbacks such as Jared Goff, Sam Darnold, and Baker Mayfield are just a few names in that conversation. Yes, many players find second and even third or fourth chances as they drift from team to team, but second chances are the end of the line when operating within the same franchise. Anthony Richardson is already on his second chance with the Indianapolis Colts, and I can just about guarantee there won't be a third.

Fans got a taste of what could be expected going foward, and boy, was it nice.
The Indianapolis Colts had a brutal middle of the season in which they dropped three games in a row. The competition was fierce as they faced off against the Texans, Vikings, and Bills, all of whom are on track to make the postseason. The return of Anthony Richardson and his resurgence in the win against the Jets has renewed faith and hope for the team and its fans. While the aforementioned teams are incredibly tough, the challenge awaiting the Colts in the form of the Lions may be the biggest yet. A loss against the Lions would surprise no one, but a win would create a much different conversation.
