A portion of Bishop Road has been relocated and is now open to traffic. The road was moved to allow Eagle Specialty Materials to mine nearly 90 million tons of coal, which will extend the life of the Belle Ayr mine.

Donkey Creek runs through the 5,500-acre piece of land that Campbell County purchased as a potential site of a state shooting complex. There is interest locally to hold a long-range shooting competition on the property.

DRUGS DESERT HILLS CIRCLE : A 35-year-old man was arrested for drug possession and illegal gun possession Thursday afternoon.
