Shirley was born June 19, 1935, to Russell and Mary (Norton) Walter in Steuben County, Indiana. She married the love of her life, Gerald Smith, on August 17, 1951, who preceded her in death July 24, 2023.

A service will be held Wednesday May 22, 2024 at 12 NOON at Dutcher Funeral Home of Coldwater with Pastor Mark Case officiating.

David graduated from Coldwater High School and went on to attend Michigan Tech University. He ended up leaving college to enlist in the US Army, proudly serving in Vietnam as a medic.

Christopher was born March 23, 1990 to Tracy Peterson and Tammy Lyon in Coldwater, MI.

A service will be held Friday, June 7, 2024 at 12 NOON at Dutcher Funeral Home of Coldwater with Pastor Kevin Looper officiating.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater with Pastor Mark Case from California Community Church officiating.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sturgis, MI. Interment will follow at Snow Prairie Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with a Rosary to be held at 7:00 PM.

She was born November 12, 1937 to Andrew and Mildred (Norton) Bracy. Janet was a graduate of Quincy High School and on July 20, 1961 she married Lee Hyliard who preceded her in death on October 7, 1992.
