Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal, 70, has been on an indefinite fast since November 26 to press the Centre into accepting the agitating farmers' demands, including a legal guarantee of MSP on crops.

The Supreme Court urged the Punjab government to convince Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who has been on a fast-unto-death since November 26, to shift to a hospital for proper treatment.
