BURLINGTON, N.C. — With the holiday season in full swing, a local non-profit and former Salute to Heroes recipient is making sure no one is forgotten about.

Michael Lawrence met Michael Horan in 1998, and they both served with the Beach Haven Beach Patrol in New Jersey. Lawrence says Horan was a true light that will be deeply missed.
