Datadog reported better-than-expected profit and revenue in the third quarter, but the software company’s stock fell as its guidance didn’t appeal to investors. New-York based Datadog, which helps clients detect and analyze malicious activity in real time, posted adjusted earnings of 46 cents a share for the three months through September, Thursday morning. Quarterly revenue grew by 26% from a year earlier to $690 million, while the consensus call was for $665 million.

Icahn Enterprises is reducing its dividend to 50 cents a share. The cut stems from Carl Icahn’s proposal to acquire additional shares of CVR Energy, a renewable fuels and petroleum refining business.
